MIXCYCLOPEDIA.NET

Welcome To Mixcyclopedia!

Mixcyclopedia is one of the largest internet web sites containing a more than 2 gigabytes of CD cover images and track lists of mix and megamix compilations. This site is intended for information purposes only. You cannot download any music from this site. You can only get the high resolution CD covers and track lists of the mixes. The site is constantly updated with new material. Check the Updates section to see the 10 most recently updated mixes.

All mixes are organized in hierarchical folders by the mix series name. Inside folders you will find albums with covers for each volume. If there are many volumes for a given mix series, there is a subfolder with a range of volume numbers. If there is a new mix that was updated within 7 days, the folder will have image next to it. Inside the folders you will find the albums containing the tracklists, cue sheets, and multiple CD cover images.

The album icon looks like a stack of pictures with the thumbnail image of the front mix cover on top. If we have a text-based tracklist for a mix, you will see it next to the album icon. If the release date of the mix is known, it will be in parenthesis next to the mix and volume name. You can also see when the info on the mix was updated. To see all CD cover images for the given mix volume, click on the album icon. You will see screen-size versions of all CD cover images. To get a full-resolution images for printing purposes, click on Get Original Uploaded Photo link below the screen-size picture. Note that if we do not have the full-resolution version of the image, this link will not be there. If we have a cue file for a mix, it's contents will be below the track listing cover image.

If there are less then 3 volumes in the series, there is no special folder for that series. Instead this volume is placed in *Miscellaneous* folder and the appropriate subfolder is based on the first letter of the series name. If the series name contains the name of the DJ then the mix will be put in the folder based on the DJ's name, not letter D.

The site is meant to be interactive. You can leave a comment for each of the cover images that you see on the site. To see all entered comments click on the Comments menu on the left. If you would like to reply to the comment or see all other comments for a given cover, click on it's thumbnail and you will see all comments below the picture.
